Quality control is built into every welding project. We provide general weld inspections, documented quality-control procedures, and detailed inspection records for work where reliability and quality matter.
For critical applications, we can provide inspection forms with documented witness verification, along with non-destructive testing (NDT) using Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to identify surface-breaking defects without damaging the component.

Leak Down Testing (In-house only)
Leak-down testing is a controlled inspection method used to verify the integrity of welded components, vessels, piping, and sealed assemblies. The system is pressurized with air or another approved test medium and monitored for leakage or pressure loss.
This testing helps identify leaks, incomplete welds, pinholes, and other potential defects before equipment is placed into service. Testing procedures and results can be documented for quality-control and critical-work requirements.
Dye-Pen & Magnetic Particle Testing
Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) is a non-destructive testing method used to detect surface-breaking cracks, porosity, pinholes, and other discontinuities in nonporous materials. A penetrating dye is applied to the cleaned surface, allowed to enter defects, and then developed to make indications clearly visible.
PT is particularly useful for inspecting welds, repairs, stainless steel, aluminum, and other non-magnetic materialswithout damaging the component. Inspection procedures and results can be documented for quality-control and critical-work requirements.
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) is a non-destructive testing method used to detect surface and near-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials such as carbon steel. The inspection area is magnetized and magnetic particles are applied, allowing discontinuities such as cracks and lack of fusion open to or near the surface to produce visible indications.
MT provides a fast and effective method for evaluating critical welds, structural components, repairs, and industrial equipment without damaging the component. Inspection procedures and results can be documented for quality-control, traceability, and critical-work requirements.
Rockwell Hardness Testing (In-House Only)
Rockwell Hardness Testing is a standardized method used to measure the hardness of metals by determining their resistance to indentation under a controlled load. Testing provides a numerical Rockwell hardness value that can be used to evaluate material properties, heat treatment, consistency, and suitability for the intended application.
Rockwell testing can be used for fabricated components, machined parts, tooling, repair work, and material verification. Test results can be documented and incorporated into quality-control and critical-work inspection records when required.
